Five LBCC alums were notified this summer of their induction into the LBCC Alumni Hall of Fame on October 23, 2009. They are Susan K. Beeney, founder and Executive Director of New Hope Grief Support Community, Ken Buck, owner of Long Beach landmark, Joe Josts, and supporter of the LBCC Athletic program, Mary Micucci, owner of “Along Came Mary,” a Los Angeles catering company known for their extravaganzas, Doug Otto, member of the LBCCD Board of Trustees and president of numerous area organizations, and Curtis Pedersen, chief of staff for LA County Supervisor Don Knabe.
